Successful Planning Permission: A planning application was submitted to London Borough of Hackney on November 2010 for a change of use from a B1 commercial workshop development to C3 residential usage. A proposal for full demolition of existing buildings and construction of 9 highly insulated new build units was sought. Please refer to the full Design and Access Report PDF (below right under the image) for further details of the design.
Result: Full planning permission was granted by Hackney Council in January 2011 and Reve Developments successfully sold the site in May 2011. The planning enhancement resulted in a value uplift of 38% on the original purchase price of the land. The site is currently being built out and is due for completion in summer 2012.
